About

CHOOSING A COUNSELOR TO WORK WITH CAN BE CONFUSING. Let me tell you more about myself to see if I might be the right counselor for you.

I love my morning coffee, especially if I can listen and watch birds. I love to go camping with my family and physically connect with nature. I get away sometimes by reading books that tell rich and powerful stories of other people’s lives.

And there are things I DON’T LIKE: judgemental people, waiting, wind, and seeing people suffer needlessly.

I enjoy working with ALL TYPES OF PEOPLE–survivors of abuse and trauma, adolescents and their families, individuals, couples, and LGBTQQ. I also offer premarital education and counseling.

I have a private practice in Fort Collins, CO. My office is warm and inviting, and a very safe place.

With over TWELVE YEARS EXPERIENCE working with individuals, adolescents and couples, and doing premarital counseling and education, I bring a lot of profession experience, as well as life experience, to my work.

I graduated from Colorado Christian University and then sought further training in EMDR, DBT AND INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEMS (IFS). This gives me many tools to choose from to find the one that will be most beneficial to you.

Being very interactive and solution-focused allows me to provide support, education and practical skills so the people who see me to can effectively address their personal life challenges. I integrate complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a HIGHLY PERSONALIZED APPROACH, tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each situation to help clients learn new skills and insights to find the personal growth they want.
